Are you thinking about starting therapy?

 

Taking that first step and finding a therapist can be a daunting task, so to help you with this process, can I suggest that you ask yourself the following:

 

  1. What issues am I experiencing, do I need a certain type of therapist?
    e.g. CBT, addiction, couples, family?

     

  2. What do I want to change and achieve with the therapy?
    e.g. to become more assertive in my relationships.

     

  3. How do I feel with my counsellor, do we have a connection?
    e.g. am I able to talk with them openly and freely without fear of judgement?

With this in mind, if you would like to have an initial chat to see if I am the right counsellor for you,
